Beef Stew Hungarian Style

Beef Stew Hungarian Style


3 lbs lean beef cut into 1 inch cubes
2 large onions, chopped
3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
3 cloves of garlic, thinly chopped
2 green peppers, cut into narrow strips and seeded
3 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 10-15 oz bag of frozen lima beans

1 c beef broth
2 tsp salt
2 tsp paprika 1 can of diced tomatoes 32 oz


Place all of the ingredients except beef broth, salt, paprika and tomatoes in a crock pot.  Mix the beef broth, salt, paprika and tomatoes and pour over the top of contents in the crock pot.  Cover and cook on a low setting for 8 to 10 hours.

6-8 servings
